Umbra Window Tinting

UMBRA is the only shop I trust with my cars. The workmanship is top tier: clean lines, no bubbles, no light gaps, and the finish looks like it came from the factory. Just as important, they’re great people. They take the time to explain your options, they’re honest about what you actually need, and they treat your car like it’s their own. If you care about your vehicle… take it to UMBRA. Phenomenal work, every time.

Had a great experience with Umbra Window Tinting. They did a superb job on my truck, and the quality of their work speaks for itself. Everything came out clean and professional, and they were incredibly quick as well. Very happy with how it turned out, and I really appreciate the attention to detail and efficiency. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for quality tint work

I had an outstanding experience with Umbra Schaumburg with my 2026 C8 Corvette. Knowing they use certified XPEL PPF made them my first choice, but I still shopped around and compared pricing, workmanship, and customer service with several other shops. Their pricing was competitive, but what really set Umbra apart was the experience from start to finish. Nino was fantastic to work with. He was professional, communicative, and flexible throughout the entire process. He stayed on top of all the paperwork and registration, and even after the installation, scheduling a follow-up inspection to make sure everything was perfect was quick and easy. That level of customer service is hard to find. The workmanship was exceptional. Joe is clearly an expert at what he does. The window tint is flawless, with clean, precise edges, and the XPEL is practically invisible, even around the complex curves and body lines of the car. It's crystal clear and actually makes the metallic flake in the paint stand out even more. If you care about your vehicle and want the job done right the first time, I highly recommend Umbra Schaumburg. They deliver and truly care about their customers. I will be back!

I recently had my 2025 Mercedes GLE63S done at Umbra Window Tinting, and once again they delivered absolutely outstanding work. This is actually the 5th vehicle I’ve trusted them with, and every single time the experience has been top notch from start to finish. I had PPF and window tint installed, and the quality is flawless. The finish looks factory perfect with incredible attention to detail throughout the entire vehicle. No shortcuts, no rushed work — just clean, precise craftsmanship done by people who clearly care about what they do. Their pricing is fair, communication is always professional, and they treat every car with real care and respect. At this point, I honestly wouldn’t trust my vehicles with anyone else. It’s hard to find a shop that stays this consistent over multiple vehicles, but Umbra continues to impress me every time. If you’re looking for high-quality tint or PPF work and you’re picky about your car, these are the people to go to. Highly recommended.

I truly believe that Umbra is the best place for window tinting in the Chicagoland area. I’ve been getting all of my vehicles tinted here since 2019. Have also sent many friends/family to Umbra. I have never heard of a negative experience nor failure. Nino and his team appear to be in the business for all the right reasons. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.
